Electrolux Food On Film
Series of 4 films made to promote Electrolux’s Sponsorship of the Cannes Film Festival. Electrolux Professional Chefs from Italy, France, Sweden and the UK created special menus based on previous Palme D’or winning films.
These special meals were served to journalists at special events in each market as part of the PR launch for Electrolux’s involvement in Cannes film festival.
The films were promoted via media partnerships with food titles in each of the four markets and via social media channels. A consumer competition was run encouraging people to send in photos of food they had made or eaten which resembled famous films.

Films received 343k hits in total and the subsequent PR campaign generated a total audience reach of 230 million with an estimated PR value or € 25 million.
